We are the new age Dublin based bicycle shop. Selling Bicycles, Accessories and Clothing through the Cycle to Work Scheme and through our website. We bring bicycle options to your home or office for you to test, get sized properly and make sure that your going to be comfortable. The most important aspect of buying a new bicycle is to make sure your on the correct frame size. Instead of you browsing a catalogue, once we chat with over the phone, by email or messenger, we put together some suitable options and bring them to you for a test ride. We are all about the personal touch.

Offering international shipping is another aspect of our business and we now have customers all around the world. We have partnered with An Post Express courier services to provide a quality tracked service at the lowest possible rates just to make you happy, even offering free shipping, depending on the value of your order. As well as the Cycle to Work Scheme, we also offer other services like Bicycle Repairs and Bicycle Maintenance classes (which we love).

WHAT CUSTOM BIKES DO YOU BUILD ?

A custom built bicycle can be something as simple as upgrading your saddle and grips to make you more comfortable. “We build bicycles with a Personality as big as your own”. Specialising in custom building bicycles, offering brands such as Bobbin Bikes, Pells, Forme, Rocker Bmx and lots more, helping our customers build their dream bike. We can start with an idea, with a frame, a seat post or whatever you have. Its all about keeping within the budget that you give us.
Most of our Singlespeed builds are usually chromoly frames. These are lightweight steel frames as oppose to cheaper Hi-Tensile steel. When we custom build bikes, we usually sit down over a cup of coffee or chat through email. If possible we like to provide you with a preview of what you bike will look like when we are done.

CAN YOU SHOW US ONE OF YOUR CUSTOM BIKES ?

One of our customers Danielle came to us with an idea of building her dream bike. Designed with her love of the Teenage Mutant Hero turtles. We agreed to meet Danielle at her job to discuss exactly what she was looking for. After a cup of coffee and some Facebook messages through our page, we came up with this:

We started Danielle’s build using a 6KU compete bike. The 6KU Shelby model was her bike of choice as it had the right base colours to begin the build (Black and Blue). After getting Danielle’s correct frame size into stock, we booked her bicycle in for building and had it ready in a few days.  The great part was Danielle made a big saving through the Cycle to Work Scheme. This is the result of Danielle’s bicycle:

WHY DO YOU DO THIS?

Because we love what we do. For us, it’s not just about selling bikes and accessories. We really want to give our customers what they want and help save you some money at the same time. Myself and the team love all things bicycles and are passionate about making customers happy. We love meeting new customers and having worked managing a bicycle shop for over seven years, we felt that we could offer customers a better experience that is purely based around customers service.

HOW LONG HAS YOUR BUSINESS BEEN RUNNING FOR?

The business started from an idea in 2013 while myself and my partner were walking down the coast road in Clontarf. Deciding to be brave and taking a leap of faith, the business was established in October 2015. It all began by building bicycles for friends and family. In April 2016, we moved into our very first warehouse. After selling bicycles to companies like ESB, Trinity College, Dublin City Council and LearnUpon we built up some momentum. Our website has now sold bicycles and accessories all around the world, shipping bicycles to the United States, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, France and even Japan.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY SO FAR ?

It has been scary at times. Taking that leap of faith took almost two years. If it wasn’t for the backing and constant reminders from my partner that everything was going to be fine, this would have never happened. Our Aim is to continue our growth within the Irish market and progressively scale up our exports internationally. The best part is dealing with the customers as everybody is looking for something different and that is what makes them individuals. If it wasn’t for you, our customers, we would be here.
So as part of our very first blog post, I would like to say thank you for the support.
